But her life, like that of her parents, is pierced by an earthquake—Julieta’s mental problems and her recurring crises. Fed up with remaining in a discreet background, the desire for freedom begins to grow in Lola more and more. As in any good film about adolescence, Alemania is a bit melancholy.
