Susy reluctantly accepts and once there he will have to deal with a reality very different from how he had imagined it. The farmhouse is now a Country House managed by two factors, Ugo and Amalia, and five "madmen" who work the fields, the vineyards, look after the cattle and keep what it is a small but well equipped company: Casa Matta.
